How to Book
If you need medical or nursing advice, which is available to request until 12:15 pm, please call the surgery on 01294 211993.The receptionist will take your details, a brief description of the problem and you will be offered a GP telephone appointment.
A GP will phone you back the same day and discuss your symptoms, and if necessary will arrange the most appropriate course of action for you e.g. arrange a GP/Practice Nurse or HCA appointment or leave a prescription for you to collect later in the day or at the pharmacy of your choice.
Appointment times generally run from 08:45 (8.45am) to 17:20 (5.20pm) with appropriate breaks.

Our Policy about Failing to Attend
We are pleased to hear from you, but not 10 minutes after you have missed your appointment! Please cancel any unneeded consultations as soon as you can, but a minimum of 1 hour before the appointment (call us anyway even inside the hour – wed rather know than guess). It is practice policy that, if you fail to attend 3 appointments or 30 minutes worth of appointments in the space of a year, or a new patient appointment or medical, or at doctors discretion, we reserve the right to contact you to advise you of this and how this breaks down the special relationship you need to have with your doctor. After that, any further failures to attend are monitored, and will mostly result in a final warning and then a patient being invited to seek GP services elsewhere.
Special Requirements
Please let us know if you have any special requirements before attending the surgery. Also, if we have not seen you for 3 years or more, (or 12 months if you are over 75), we will ask you about your general health in order to update our records.
